Google Android phones to assist with earthquake alerts and searches

google says it's started working with U.S Geological survey to send earthquake alert in smart phones.

the growing cost of natural disasters in world wide is very high even we can't expect it. thousands of people are died due to this disasters. so google came forward with the new technology, our smart phone turns into mini seismometers to detect when earthquake occurs in that area. when it rollout for every country then we can escape from the earthquake so the death rate comes very low.
